BIOGRAPHY
KyungAh Hwang is a Korean-Canadian artist who received a BFA degree in South Korea. She primarily works with acrylic paint and uses various visual mediums, including oil, watercolor, ink, pencil, and ceramic sculpture. KyungAh explores themes of vitality, isolation, loneliness, and fragility in both figurative and abstract approaches. Since immigration to Canada in 1999, she has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in private and public galleries in Vancouver and Seoul. She currently lives and works in Coquitlam, BC.
